I believe education should focus on the whole child; by providing a well-rounded education with a strong curriculum as well as promoting health, nutrition, and a safe and secure learning environment.

I believe education is the great equalizer. Throughout my childhood, I attended public schools and I was fortunate to build a solid foundation, with education as a basis, which has enabled me to have a successful career and opportunities I never imagined. I am running for Sacramento City Unified School District School Board because I want to ensure that this generation and future generations have the same kind of opportunities. I am committed to making our school system one that enables all students to create their own pathways to success.
